The Need
Today, planning is based on predictions. In annual planning cycles, organizations either make incremental adjustments to the previous year’s plan or build roadmaps toward a future based on ‘expert’ predictions. Alas, predicted futures are seldom realized. Organizations are constantly surprised by what happens, whether it is a pandemic or unexpected innovation by the competition.
Planning for the future must include careful consideration of the diversity of futures, rather than only one of them which may not manifest.
I bring to this my Oxford Scenario Planning training and hands-on experience with various scenario planning topics to help you explore the future thoroughly.
